Natural Taro Purple Liquid

This taro-purple liquid blends gardenia blue and cochineal red to create a purple shade. It also contains glycerol and water. “Taro purple” describes the color; taro is not a coloring ingredient. This product is water-soluble.

The blue and red components may respond differently to food conditions. Gardenia blue may aggregate or precipitate in strongly acidic foods, while pH and proteins can affect cochineal red. The overall purple shade may therefore change. It contains an insect-derived ingredient and is unsuitable for vegetarian products.
